When Roger Ibarra was growing up, he needed extra money so he decided to find a job landscaping part time. After 12 years of working for someone else, he started his own operation on a part time basis. Just mowing on the evenings and on the weekends, was not enough. Word spread of his good work and he decided to go full time and officially started BBI Lawn Care in 2015.
Born in Lima, Peru, Roger moved to Mobile, Alabama, before arriving in Orlando in 1991. He currently lives in Orlando behind the Orlando International Airport.
Roger and his crew at BBI currently serve most of the Orlando area but also mow lawns in Winter Park, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Clermont, Windermere, Doctor Phillips, downtown Orlando, east Orlando and evens cuts grass in Casselberry, Florida. BBI is a popular vendor in the Sand Hills neighborhood in Doctor Phillips, Bay Hill, College Park, and Thornton Park. Roger also services varies office and medical buildings.
When asked what has led to his success, Roger attributes his success to his attention to detail. He further explains, "I am very OCD when it comes to my lawns. I also stay in communication with all of my homeowners and I am there when I say I will be there. We are also very flexible when it comes to the homeowners needs."
BBI Lawn Care is not only your regular lawn company, they will also handle your low level tree and palm tree trimming, mulching, sodding, simple sprinkler repair, weed management, and shrub and bush trimming.
"Mowing is very therapeutic to me," Ibarra says. "It is very fulfilling to see my finished product and I also love being able to show my creative side when it comes to projects." He goes on to add, "I have an eye for how things should look, my customers are happy with it, and this is why I love what I do."
When Roger is not running his crew, you can find him spending time with his wife and 3 children. They have annual passes to the park and love supporting any soccer games in the Orlando area.
Roger and his family love to frequent Millers Alehouse on Winter Garden Vineland Road and Mama Romano's on Landstar Boulevard in Orlando,
Ibarra graduated from Doctor Phillips High School.
