This Pro Story

Hi my name is Randy Griffin - I am primarily a solo lawn cut service operator and sole proprietorship owner of my business- I offer quality lawn cut services, overseeding or other fertilization services- I do limit landscape work to small jobs such as minor shrub trimming. I typically work Monday thru Friday from 7:30am till 4:30pm - weekends are days off or set aside to carryover jobs in case of rain- please text me anytime - I service most residential properties either as one time or a schedule basis - thank you considering me for jobs involved

Lawn & Yard Services Offered:

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I got started about 3-4 years ago and eventually had the business buildup to offer lawn cut services as a viable full time business and providing one time or a subscribed service living within a 20 mile radius from my residence- I was inspired simply watching small business owners in various fields - what they had in common on being successful was about having a passion for the work, offering quality work or a quality product and being customer friendly plus good communication skills. These are attributes I will strive for.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

I treat every yard as if it was my own but I always listen to the customer on certain requests. I am always a text or call away - I utilize multiple zero turn machinery so if one needs service during the year, I can ensure clients needs are still met so that there is minimal chance of interruption- My equipment stands out because while most lawn service providers utilize a trailer that sometimes creates access issues for them or others, I instead utilize a unique integrated ramp system on my pickup truck which allows access into hard to access areas such as alleys or busy streets- No problem.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

It’s important to understand that weekly is very much worth it - your yard will maintain that clean cut look on a regular basis- Most of my valued clients prefer bi weekly (every two weeks) service and that’s ok - however there may be visible grass debris since zero turn mowers do not typically cut higher then 4.5 inches- I do utilize a mulch kit or chute blocker on both walk behind and riding mower but this cannot stop grass debris if grass is tall- Side discharge may be necessary to disperse the clippings if grass cut exceeds the one third cut rule - thank you !

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

The flexibility to manage jobs, communicate with clients and a hands on approach to each job- I certainly enjoy working outdoors - the general exercise and different locations and meeting great people is a bonus

What areas do you mainly service?

I service most residential properties in many areas including: Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Antioch, Hermitage, Nolensville, LaVergne, or any surrounding areas with a 25 mile radius- new jobs with access issues or excessive slope or excessive debris will unfortunately be declined .
