Been involved in mostly construction and landscape maintenance for 24 years. I have another small finish carpentry business that builds handmade butcherblock countertops and tables. However, I still run a lawn crew every season and always will.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
12 consecutive mowing seasons and more intermittent seasons prior to that.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
Because I cut and trim each property just like I would my own. It's actually easier to make it right than to cut corners.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
It isn't always best to hire the cheapest provider. In the end you will almost always wind up getting exactly what you pay for. How is your crew going to look when it comes time for accountability? In the lawn maintenance field of work accidents are almost always going to involve your property and someone else damaging that property.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
The lawn maintenance business is always booming during the growing months. Despite the economy or the housing market. When the grass grows everyone needs to mow.
What areas do you mainly service?
Lawn mowing, weed trimming, edging, hedging, pruning (under 35 ft./no climbing), gutter clean out & repair, build and install exterior shutters.
