When Reginald Mansfield was younger his favorite chore was to mow the yard. He enjoyed the tranquility and the seeing the finished product he created. Being a mechanic and an electrician by trade, he always had an itch to go back to landscaping since he enjoyed it so much when he was younger. He was mowing a few properties part time but in 2012, Reginald officially started Choose and Save Lawn Care and hasn't looked back.
Born and raised in Florida, Reginald now resides in west Orlando. "Orlando has been good to me and my family and we love being able to service the people here," Mansfield says.
Reginald and his crew service most of the proper Orlando areas but also cut yards in Winter Park, Conway, Winter Garden, Apopka, Ocoee, Eustice, Windermere, Poinciana, and evens mows yards in Kissimmee, Florida. Choose and Save services over 50 homeowners and preforms work for the city of Orlando. They also service some medical complexes and handle the grounds keeping for a few local car lots.
"Going above and beyond" is what Reginald attributes to his growth over the past few years. "I will always perform the extra little things that most other lawn care companies charge for. "Things like weeding the flower beds and trimming a little bush are all part of things that I will do extra for my customers," Mansfield explains.
Choose and Save will also handle your sodding, sprinkler repair, mulching, shrub and bush trimming, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, planting, and leaf removal. "We are your one-stop shop for anything outside," Reginald explains.
Mansfield's passion for being outside and working with his hands are two of the main reasons that he was drawn to this industry. "I love the Orlando weather and love seeing the customer's face when I am finished with their lawn," Mansfield says. "It's something I will never get tired of."
When Reginald is not out keeping his customer's happy, he loves spending time with his kids. He also still enjoys tinkering with anything that has an engine and loves to cook. "Working on cars, working on my mowers, and anything else that runs is truly a hobby for me," Mansfield says.
Reginald was a graduate of Maynard Evans School on Silver Star Road in Orlando.
