My name is Justin and I am the owner of Labor Of Lawn, a family owned and operated business, in the DFW area. I was born and raised in this area and my wife is a native Texan. We ventured into this business because we believe in providing quality services at an affordable price. Everyone deserves to have a lawn they are proud to see and able to enjoy. We offer a variety of services to keep your lawn looking fantastic year round. We book Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays, and we offer weekly, biweekly(every two weeks), or monthly appointments. We are a hardworking company that takes pride in our work and a satisfied customer. Remember Labor Of Lawn loves to take care of your lawn so you don't have to!

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I decided to start my own lawn care business after working for several years in the Telecom industry. I worked my way from an entry level position to management over an entire shop by emphasizing customer satisfaction and creating a healthy work environment for my employees. Despite having great scores and well performing technicians when a merger came I watched myself and all the highest, most qualified technicians be laid off. I had seen a decline in the last 5 years of various companies starting to care less and less not only about the customer, but about their employees as well. If you don't have a happy employee who cares about their job then you will not have a satisfied customer. At that point I decided to put all my efforts into my own business and creating something I believe this world needs. People treating people with respect and kindness and you can do this while providing a service.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

We understand that are homes are an extension of ourselves and everyone deserves for their lawn to look healthy and amazing. I have a huge attention to detail and make sure what I'm working on doesn't need any improvements before we move onto the next property. In fact, my wife gets on to me about it sometimes "Your over thinking it. It looks great!" I can't help it, I was raised to work hard and strive for perfection. I treat my clients yards like they are my own and honestly probably better. I spend extra time making your yard the best on your street, and if I have more than one house on the street I'm aiming to make your street the best in the neighborhood. Our customers mean the world to us ..... without you their is no Labor Of Lawn and that concept is not lost on us. Happy wife happy life well satisfied customer thriving business.....we are still working on that one, but you get my point!

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Everyone's very good at remembering to put up their animals inside, leaving the gate open, and making sure no small children are outside while we are servicing the property. This is for their protection and safety above all else and we are very thankful! Information about your property is key to getting the service you not only need but deserve and most importantly to ensure we are prepared. Before we show up we want to make sure we have the equipment and ability to take care of your needs. Please make sure to note the exact length of grass if it is way overgrown or provide a picture if possible. This lets us know we need to bring our heavy duty mower out and to allow extra time in our schedule for your property on our route that day. If you have a gate measure the entry way with the gate once it is open. We have several size mowers, but they are all not loaded on the rig daily. If we show up with our 48" mower and your gate is only 30" it will not only be a disappointment and inconvenience to you, but we will walk away without the chance to earn your business that day and possibly in the future. We understand sometimes it is a necessity to be mowed on a certain day or certain time, but please try to remain flexible. It is very important to be able to schedule property's in the same neighborhoods ideally on the same day. This is not only important for our businesses productivity and profitability, but it keeps us from running around town all day enabling us to focus and provide quality work to each and every customer. When the property has lots of obstacles in the way or trash this can be a hazard to the equipment and a mess if it is unseen and mowed over. Please make sure to move large objects out of the way and pick up trash before we service the property. If you are unable to move the objects that may interfere please let us know ahead of time so we can notate that in our system and adjust for that time on our route if possible. Again quality services at an affordable price is our goal and we aim to keep you, our customers satisfied!

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

I've been in lawn care and landscaping for 5 years and what started out as a new way to provide for my family has turned into a career I absolutely love. I get to spend everyday outside in the elements and while Texas can get very hot, I truly enjoy being out in the sun and when you're lucky a cool breeze. I get to help people improve and maintain their lawns. For some people they are too elderly and can't do it them selves, but we get to bring a smile to their faces knowing they still can still take pride in their lawn. Others simply don't have the time; work and school schedules can be non-stop or simply the few precious hours they get at home with their family they don't want to be laboring away maintaining their lawn. That's where Labor of Lawn gets to step in and check off one of those To Do boxes for you!

What areas do you mainly service?

We are currently servicing the Burleson and Crowley area. A couple days a week we are in Arlington and Mansfield and those areas are routed specifically to those days. We offer mowing, weed eating/trim, edging, and blowing leaf cuttings away those services are standard with every mow. Additionally, we offer fertilizer treatments every 6 weeks, bush trimming and maintenance services, tree trimming and removal, flower bed clean up and mulch, and leaf removal when that time of year comes.
