Born and raised in the area. I’ve lived in Murfreesboro my whole life and feel I’ve had a part in a little of what it has to offer. I’ve been Electrician for S&W, a factory worker on the truck line at Nissan, I’ve even been an installer for Vinyl Doctor’s, who’s responsible for most of the advertisement you see around town. All home grown right here in the area!
I currently Work for Corporate HCA Healthcare as a Kronos Application Engineer and my accomplice Larry Moore is the Manager at 31W for the Murfreesboro location. Together we have created Moore & Day Lawncare. We currently have 8 yards that we service and hope to grow to 10-15 by the end of this year.

We both have mowed since we were children, but as a business going on 2 years now. Keeps us busy and it puts little extra money in our pockets.
What makes us stand out is that we keep our clientele relatively small, so we stay more at a personal level.
The real difference comes after the initial mow. We all try to be competitive to earn your business. All of our equipment is paid for, so our price can stay low even after the first mow.
My favorite part of this industry is that it allows me to be a business owner and run it how I would want a business to operate. If I show up on time and do a good job it because that's the expectations I was want to set.
We try to stay in Murfreesboro, though we do have a few stragglers.
