BiG Lawn Service is a veteran owned business in West Columbia. We live here and work here. We take pride in our work and providing a quality service to our community.

Since leaving active military service my goal is to challenge and develop my management skills and entrepreneurial spirit by running a small business. At first I never imagined my path lay in the lawn care service industry. In my neighborhood, full of tiny yards, I often took care of my yard and a few neighbors just to lend a helping hand. I just enjoyed the "work." I did not yet realize that doing just that, on a larger scale, actually provides a good living! Here I am chasing down goals, growing, and learning. All the while, people say I spend my day "working." I am just doing what I enjoy.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

Since working as a college student in the early 2000's and serving on active duty through retirement, lawn service offered an opportunity to better provide for my family.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

We are a "live here-work here" local, non-franchised, veteran owned, small business. We cannot afford to fail and more importantly, we love to win... Win over loyal customers!

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Ask questions and expect results! Request an upfront quote and ask for available discounts, specials, or referral incentives.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

Seeing a customer's satisfaction after helping to maintain a piece of their home in which they can take pride in.

We take great pride in serving the Greater Columbia Area.
