This was the first time I used Xavier and Rich from Blade Runners (Dover/Harrington Delaware), and I was pleased with the work done. I gave 4 stars vs. 5 because unless someone is doing a one-time job, I won’t give a 5 rating in case things go South. I will be setting up a regular schedule with them. Customer service is very important to me, and I found them to be very courteous. The last person I had would not respond to a concern I had, so I had to cut him loose after three mows. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was his plan. Due to prospective weather conditions, Blade Runners could not come on the day scheduled, but I was contacted in plenty of time, and another date was set up. They came as scheduled. Another thing I liked is that they were willing to call on my landline vs. communicating through text. I am sure there are other seniors like me who don’t have a smartphone strapped to their hip or might not have a cell phone at all. I only need a basic mowing and very little weed whacking. They do more, so give them a call or text and tell them what your needs are. I would suggest that the Blade Runners staff view a lawn prior to giving a quote because I was given a quote through Greenpal, but the price was a bit more after the work was done. I’m sure I could have negotiated. Let me be clear, the cost was not unreasonable, so I look forward to having them continue servicing my lawn. I highly recommend them based on my initial contact.
