Greenside Lawncare's Story

Greenside Lawn Care was started in 2009 by John Saparito. In 2007, the high school junior just wanted to make some extra money and when that turned into more work and money than he expected, he was sold. So after a part time stint in phone sales in 2009, Greenside Lawn Care was born. After the first summer, he had enough money to buy a commercial mower and retire his 10-speed that had taken him to Office Max numerous times to make fliers for his business.

The Hampton, Virginia native was an Air Force brat and his father finally settled the family in St. Louis in 1998.

The young entrepreneur now has 2 trucks, 4 full time employees and has amassed over 180 weekly homeowners and has some big named commercial accounts as well including Bob Evans and Menards.

Not only will Greenside tackle your regular lawn maintenance, they will also do your rock work, mulching, sodding, retaining walls, leaf removal, fertilization, paver patios, shrub and bush trimming, and mason work. "We will do everything except tree trimming and irrigation," John says.

Saparito explains, "We strive to do the best work and have the best customer service in lawn mowing in St. Louis and I know that is why our customers never leave us. We truly do everything we can to make and keep them happy. This is the mindset that we have had since I started and will continue to strive for."

Not only do they do some of the best landscaping work in St. Louis but they can also get you serviced same day. "If one of our customers calls us before noon, they can normally be done in the same day," John explains.

It doesn't get any better than that for his customers.

When John Is not out running his lawn empire, you can find him on the ice. John is either refereeing hockey or playing in a local hockey league. He is also an avid fan of the St. Louis Blues.
