Needing your Lawn Cut?
This Pro's Story
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I am entering my second year in professional Lawn Care.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
This is a difficult question to answer. The truth of the matter is, there a many reputable lawn care companies who provide excellent service and quality work. Along with that, there are many not so reputable which can put a dark cloud over the industry. I will continually strive to be the very best in this industry and will work extremely hard to ensure my customers are satisfied. I am licensed and insured!
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
1. Insurance: You should request to see this from any potential lawn company. Many solo guys, and even bona-fide companies, advertise they are licensed and insured. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Request a copy of their insurance before allowing them to service your lawn. 2. Customer Service: Make sure the company you decide to hire answers their phones and responds to emails in a timely manner. Invest in a company that you can easily communicate with should a question or problem come up. 3. Equipment: Residential yards require smaller equipment than larger commercial properties. Make sure the company you go with is not putting an overly-heavy zero-turn mower on your yard. Just make sure that the equipment being used on your residential yard is of appropriate size. 4. The Right Cut Schedule – People often think they are saving money by having their grass cut every two weeks, but bi-weekly mows cost more per mow because the grass is higher and takes more time to manage. But even worse than that, it is unhealthy to cut more than about a third of your grass’s height in any one day. This shocks the lawn, makes it more prone to a weak root system which opens doors to weeds, bugs, and disease. Cutting too sporadically could end up costing much more as you try to rehabilitate your lawn with fertilization and weed control treatments.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
Lawn care is a service based business and I have been involved in the service industry my entire adult life. This is about providing quality service to customers and building a trusting relationship with them.
