This Pro's Story
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I am just starting my lawn-care business however I mowed lawns as a teenager for a couple years. I belong outdoors and lawn-care is a productive way to be able to do that and get paid. I do gardening with my spare time and I try to use as much yard waste from different jobs to use for mulching of garden beds and bare areas.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I treat customers lawns like they are my own. I am very detail oriented and believe that I have a unique taste for perfection that many others starting out in the industry may not have. I accept my mistakes and am a very agreeable and flexible person. My philosophy and challenge to myself is to do lawn-care without chemicals and synthetic fertilizers that over the long term harm more than help the soil. You will only find me applying natural, earth friendly solutions to common yard issues like weed control or leaf cleanup.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
The flexibility of hours is great but also the ability to work outdoors and in nature.
