This Pro's Story
Isaac Artavia's dad had a landscaping company while he was in high school. Every summer, he would help his father with every aspect of the business. After graduating high school, he started working at a bank. After 7 years there, he knew that the corporate environment was something that was not for him. So in 2016, he decided to quit the eight to five grind and opened up Nature Springs.
This Houston Texas native enjoys the area and plans to keep his roots here in Houston. " I love the area, the people are great, and the food is outstanding," Artavia boasts.
Isaac and his crew service mainly everything in the I-610 loop including mowing grass in Pearland, Texas, Montrose, River Oaks, Braeswood Place, Kashmere Gardens, Lawndale, Wayside, Pine Valley, OST, Midtown, and even cuts grass in Pasadena, Texas.
Nature Springs services over 60 homeowners and also manages a few commercial properties including medical and office buildings.
Not only will Isaac and his crew handle your mowing, edging, and blowing, they can also handle your mulching, low level tree trimming, landscaping redesign, planting, stone work, pavers, bush and shrub trimming, fertilization, pesticides, pressure washing, and sod installation.
Artavia credits his quality work and his honesty as the reasons why his business has grown so rapidly. "We are upfront with our customers and let know exactly what work we are going to perform on their lawn and always ask if there is anything else they need us to do," Isaac explains. "We also make sure that every service we perform that the customer is happy and that there is nothing different they would like for us to do."
His love for being outside and wanting to be his own boss are what led him to the landscaping industry. He adds, "The corporate environment was something that I did not enjoy so I knew that I always enjoyed working with my hands and doing landscaping when I was younger. Starting my own landscaping company was a natural progression for me."
When Isaac has free time, he loves playing music. He plays guitar, bass, and drums.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have been in the landscaping business for 15 years and what inspired me the most to pursue this career is being able to enjoy my work and making customers happy and satisfied.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
Because I provide good work ethic, honesty, integrity and good quality service. Making sure that we are responsive and empathetic.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
look for reliability and responsibility someone who is able to take ownership of their own mistakes and being able to get the job done right!
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
What I like most about this industry is being able to enjoy the nature of what landscaping is all about. The flowers, trees, the nice beautiful green looking grass all that makes me feel that I have something look forward to do.
What areas do you mainly service?
I do lawn mowing, flower beds, landscaping and design, tree services, hedge/bush trimming, fertilizing, seeding, SOD installation, forestation, weed eating, mulching, power washing and pesticides.
