How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I started Pure Edge Outdoor in March of 2024, but I’ve been working with landscaping, hardscaping, and outdoor construction for years before that. What inspired me to officially start my own business was the satisfaction of transforming outdoor spaces and the pride I take in doing quality work that lasts. I saw a need in the area for a company that delivers not just great results, but also clear communication and reliability — and I wanted to build that. Now I get to combine my skills with my passion for creating spaces that families can enjoy for years.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
What sets us apart is that we don’t just cut grass — we take care of your entire outdoor space like it’s our own. We pay attention to the small details that most companies skip, like clean, sharp edging every visit, blowing off all surfaces so the property looks spotless, and checking for any issues with turf health or drainage before they become problems. We also offer a full range of services — landscaping, hardscaping, concrete work, decks, pergolas — so our customers can get all their outdoor needs handled by one trusted team without juggling multiple contractors. What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
What I enjoy most about the lawn care industry is the instant transformation you can create. There’s something satisfying about taking a yard from overgrown or plain and turning it into something clean, organized, and beautiful. I also like that the work is very visible – clients see the difference right away, and it improves how they feel about their home. Plus, it’s an industry where you’re always outside, meeting new people, and building long-term relationships with customers. Every job is different, so it never feels repetitive.
