Southern Grout Landscaping

I am originally from the Atlanta area, I grew up in Dacula Georgia and graduated from Dacula High School. I have been cutting lawns for about 5 years all over the east side of Atlanta. My service area extends as far north as Buford and as far west as I-285.

As luck would have it, I was doing a little bit of landscaping around my own home and neighbors were stopping by to check out my yard. People were literally stopping by and asking me to do some work on their landscaping projects for their homes. So that inspired me to make the plunge and start my own business and begin lawn and landscaping professionally.

I was mowing lawns already part time cutting around 10 lawns in the Gwinnett Georgia area for family, friends, and their neighbors. At the time, I was able to use my own equipment , however, very quickly as my lawn company grew, I needed to make the investment in professional lawn mowing equipment.

Soon after I decided to begin building my landscaping business full time, we grew to 20 ongoing clients spread out around the Lawrenceville Georgia area with 8 or 9 of my customers’ lawns in Snellville GA. I got most of my weekly lawn mowing clients on the east side of ATL through word of mouth. I also go to mow lawns in the Decatur area as well about once per week.

I like to earn peoples business through proactive customer service. For example, when I mow a lawn , I like to let people know in advance via text message or email that I'm coming and approximately what time I will be there. They really love this simple thing! For some reason, other lawn care guys in Atlanta won't do this simple task to service their customers.

I love the landscaping business and I love my customers. Recently, I had a client fall on hard times. It was a lady that lives with her sister in Gwinnett and she recently became disabled. She let me know that they were reduced to a single income household and that they couldn't pay me for a while. I felt like the right thing to do would be to help them out, so I am mowing their yard every other week without pay until they get back on their feet financially. It feels good to help my neighbors in Gwinnett.

Other than mowing, I offer a few different services for the home. These landscaping services include: shrub removal, pine straw, mulch, sod and shrub pruning. We will do tree removal, as long as it's less than 38’. We also offer pressure washing.
