Stella's Touch

When John was growing up, his mom and grandmother were always piddling in the yard. They would always ask for his help and that is how he learned the art of landscaping. His grandmother would make sure he was meticulous with every aspect of the lawn and made sure that John was paying attention to everything she taught him. This love for gardening led John to pursue and receive his Texas Master's Gardener Degree.

Originally from New York, John moved to the Houston area and started out by cutting his brothers lawn. Soon after seeing his brothers' lawn go from ok to the envy of the neighborhood, neighbors were reaching out to John to get him to take care of theirs. So in December of 2015, John officially started Stella's Touch.

Now John services several homeowners and mows lawns in Missouri City, Texas, Bellaire, Almeda, Houston, River Oaks, Westbury, Galleria, Montrose, and also mows grass in Sugar Land, Texas.

Hardin attributes his meticulous work and clear communication with his customers for his company's expansion. "I pride myself on knowing the science of what it takes to make a lawn look great," John says. "Knowing why some thing is not growing and how to make it grow or look better is something I can do very well. I also love talking to all of my customers and get to know the goals they want for their lawn."

Stella's Touch will not only handle your regular lawn mowing, they will also do your mulching, planting, shrub and bush trimming, sodding, aeration, low level tree trimming, weed pulling, seeding, dethatching, and spring/fall cleanups.

Seeing the finished product is what John loves about his craft. "I love being able to design, create, and watch my vision come to life," Hardin explains. "When my customers are speechless with my work, I know that I have a customer for life and they will tell their friend about me. My grandmother always told me to be the best at what I do and that is what I strive for each and every time I service anyone."

John is also a recording artist and loves singing. He is an avid reader and enjoys learning more and more about the landscaping industry.

Hardin loves spending time with his two sons and his eight grandchildren.

John is a huge fan of escargot and loves eating at Biraporetti's on Louisiana Street in Houston, Texas. He also loves Italian food and hanging out with his family at Dave & Busters.
