When I was just twelve years old I would get out my push mower and hit the street pulling my mower behind my bicycle in search of a lawn that needed to be cut. At that time most of my customers were nearby neighbors who lived within my neighborhood, but as time went on I began maintaining yards in other areas of my local community. What inspired me the most back then was the reward of looking back at a job I had completed and knowing that my customers were happy with my work. And of course, making a few bucks in the process was an added bonus. Now, thirty years later I find myself still enjoying the result of finishing a project and knowing that my customer is pleased with my work.

Instead of making it a goal to grow my landscaping business into a large company with a fleet of trucks, equipment, and employees, I have chosen to stay small in order to keep my business simple. I find it easier and more productive, as well as rewarding, to give each of my customers the attention that they deserve for choosing my company to maintain their lawn and yard.

When searching for a landscaping company to maintain your yard it is important to choose the contractor that will best suit your needs at a price that you can afford. Be cautious of under or overpriced services. And most of all be sure that you and your landscaper get along well. You certainly do not want to have to deal with someone on a regular basis who is only interested in your hard earned money.

What I enjoy most about this line of work is being able to work outdoors and knowing that when I complete a job I have done my best to leave the customer's yard looking well maintained and the envy of the neighborhood.
