How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
So, let me tell you a story. I have 5 kids. Every year I would have them start a business during the summer. I wanted to equip them with life skills I wish I would have had when I became an adult. So when Covid hit and they shut everything down, the little company I worked for doing tile had to lay us all off. But the timing was good, the summer was here and I could spend some time with my kids. That year they decided to mow yards as their business. So I helped them get started. It was great being able to spend time with the kids. Then I got a phone call that the comoany wouldnt recover and I no longer had a job to come back to. I was devestated. And scared. My daughter said, "Dad, why dont you just start a business like you always tell us to." So, I did. And FDS Lawn Care was born in June of 2020. I was so scared but now I cant beleive I didnt do this sooner
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
Definitely how we interact with our customers. Alot of my customers have become great friends!
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Make sure you find someone dependable. The vast majority of my customers have told the same story about people only coming once or twice and then never be seen again. The best way to do this is to ask for references over a year old.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I love the freedom it offers. And when you love your job you do a great job!

Backyard fenced door is not locked. Only have black wire towards top of fence to keep it closed. Fenced door is on the same side as driveway. ***there is a small portion of the property that is gated and locked, that is the landlords personal storage area. Please do not go inside that area.***
