This Pro's Story
I was a long time Chrysler worker for the past 9 years. They cut 2 shift recently and my side hustle has turned into my main business. I've been doing this since I was 12 years old and now I'm 42. I've always enjoyed mowing lawns and seeing that beautiful lawn after it's been serviced is very rewarding. I show up and do a great job as if it was my own lawn.
We offer Mowing, Trimming, Edging, Mulching, Fall/Spring Clean-ups, and most all landscaping projects.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
30 years experience. My Grandfather inspired me by how immaculate he kept his lawn and I wanted to be like him. I wanted him to let me mow his lawn so bad as a kid. He eventually let me mow his lawn and it was a very proud moment for me as a kid. He showed me all the techniques on how to properly mow, trim, and edge.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
We go up and beyond most other companies. We try and treat our customers like family.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Make sure they are bonded and insured.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
Freedom of being your own boss and being able to meet new people everyday is a great change of pace from being inside a factory for 12 hours a day. Getting to be outside all day is wonderful.
What areas do you mainly service?
The Stateline area. Within 25 miles of Roscoe IL.
