This Pro's Story
My name is Lyon Bradshaw and I own KBA Lawns. The majority of my career was spent in the Army and I loved it. I'm a bit of a workaholic and a perfectionist. I always have been. I was born with a green thumb and love to work in my yard or just be outdoors with my kids.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
This is my second year doing lawn care. it has always been kind of a passion. So it just makes since to do something I enjoy.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I'm very passionate about lawn care. I've always been the guy you see out in their yard all day long. I spent my career in the Army, so I have a great work ethic. I like to spend more time on a lawn, doing those little things that maybe another company wouldn't do. I'm more concerned about quality and making the customer completely satisfied with my work.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
I don't have a large company. It's just me. There is no quota that I have to meet at the end of the day. If I spend an hour or 3 hours, I'm going to do the best I can. I do lawn care because it's something I enjoy doing. So, it's more personal and making customers happy is really the most important thing to me.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
Every lawn is different, but sometimes you get the joy of taking a lawn that might be run down or neglected to looking really nice. I love the before and after more than anything. Also, I get to meet all kinds of people.
What areas do you mainly service?
Oklahoma City and the surrounding metro (Moore,Norman, Mustang,Yukon, Midwest city, Del City, Choctaw, Edmond and Piedmont.
