How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I started Maple Leaf Landscape Services as a small side business to supplement my income from my full time job as the Grounds Manager for Vivint SmartHome Arena and Smith’s Ballpark. I have a true passion for horticulture and landscaping and I love to make outdoor spaces look their very best. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture from BYU-Idaho which I believe sets me apart from others in the industry. I am also a Certified Lawn Care Manager through the National Association of Landscape Professionals. Aside from weekly mowing I also offer Landscape Design and consulting, irrigation design, modification, and repair, fertilization, and small landscape modifications.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

I love seeing the beauty that healthy plants bring to nature and to a home or business. I enjoy making landscapes look their very best.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

David County but also willing to travel to other neighboring counties.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

I have been in the Landscape industry since 2005. I gained my love for plants growing up farming in South eastern Idaho and my love for landscaping by helping my great grandpa take care of his yard.

As the business owner and only employee I take great pride in the work that I do and believe that a good looking yard comes from paying attention to even the minor details.
