Professional Lawncare was started by Leonel Trejo who always wanted to own his own business. Growing up in Houston, he had always worked in the landscaping industry with larger landscaping companies. After 10 years, he had enough money saved and was able to purchase a zero turn mower, a weed eater, a trailer, and a blower.
Having lived in Houston all of his life, Leonel has loved seeing Houston's growth. "This city has grown so much and my company has also benefited from this growth," Trejo says. "We have been fortunate to service the community and love dealing with the people in this fine city."
Trejo and his crew service Houston proper but also mow lawns in Pasadena, Texas, Galena Park, Southeast Hampton, South Houston, Sunnyside, Deer Park, and even cuts grass in Pearland, Texas.
Professional Lawncare has grown to over 50 homeowners and service several commercial properties including medical offices, gas stations, and strip malls.
Leonel credits his meticulous nature as his main reason for his success. "If you don’t perform good work, homeowners will not ask you to come back and mow," Trejo explains. " My work is visible to all homeowners to see so I make sure that I do my best each and every time I mow. Word of mouth spreads quickly in a neighborhood so I want to make sure that everyone is happy with what I do."
Trejo not only handles your regular lawn mowing but can also handle your mulching, leaf removal, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, shrub and bush pruning, low level tree trimming, flower planting, and landscape design.
Leonel has always wanted to be his own boss and has had a love for being outside. These reasons are why this industry was a perfect fit for him. "Being outside and also being able to plan my own days are the reason why this industry is my passion," Trejo says. "Also, being able to talk to different customers every day is a plus. Most of my customers I can call my friends."
When Trejo is not running his company, he loves to spend time with his family. "During the season, I really don’t have time to do anything other than see my family and hang out with them," Leonel says. "I am glad to have them so close and am fortunate that they are able to help me out in any way."
