Desmond Johnson, the owner/operator of Johnson's Lawn Care, started out his mowing days working with a large landscaping company in Tampa, Florida.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, he caught the entrepreneurial bug in 2013 and ventured out on his own to start and started his landscaping business. He started out working directly with banks and mowing foreclosed homes and started gaining momentum with neighbors in the Riverview, Brandon, Temple Terrace and Valrico areas.
He has grown his weekly customers to over 30 per week and aims to be at 50 recurring customers per week.
"Low prices, great service and showing up on time," he says, have led him to many referrals and recurring customers. "We always aim to please and make sure that every customer is satisfied."
Going above and beyond for his clientele is something that he does on a regular basis.
Desmond is known to blow off roofs and clean gutters for his customers if they have no means to do it otherwise. "It will all come back around," he expresses.
Other than regular lawn maintenance, he offers full general clean outs and also pressure washing of all surfaces and homes. No job is too big for him.
He credits his love for the outdoors and being his own boss that drew him to the landscaping business. "I love being outside and making my own schedule," he says.
When he is not mowing, pressure washing, or spending time with his wife, he enjoys fishing at the Ballast Point Park Pier in Tampa. "Fishing takes my mind off of everything and allows me to relax," he says. "It's where I go and what I do, to get away."
He and his wife are also cruise enthusiasts and have recently been to the Bahamas and Mexico.
He currently resides in Riverview, Florida and would love the opportunity to work for you.
