Trusted lawnmower service in Miramar, FL — NEVER AGAIN. BAD BUSINESS THIS PLACE NEVER CALLED TO GET APPROVAL ON THE REPAIRS THAT WERE DONE. THIS PLACE CHARGED ALMOST $900 (OVER $500 IN LABOR) FOR A TUNE UP OF A SCAG AND WEEDEATER... ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, BAD BUSINESS TO NOT GET AUTHORIZATION IN ADVANCE. NEVER AGAIN ON TOP OF IT, HE ONLY ALLOWS DEBIT, SO THAT YOU CANNOT DISPUTE A CREDIT CARD CHARGE. DON'T GO 8-10-22 Follow up response to your response to my review. We can go back and forth, but you, dear sir are not truthful in your response either. 1. While you are correct, I have not dealt with you (thankfully and never will now) you dealt with my husband who took the scag in to replace a flat tire. You recommended a tune up... he did agree, BUT, never once did you tell him how much this was going to cost. So yes, when he came home upset at how much this tune up cost to get a DEBIT card because you told him "you have to pay using a pin," I decided to write the review. 2. If you only charged, as you say, 4.75 hours of labor, then why was the bill for both machines $927 ... don't believe me, I've attached the receipts. Labor for one receipt is $440 and the other $85. So my statement of "over $500 in labor" is absolutely correct. 3. Agree! you claim to have done all that work, but again, never once did you call to say how much it was going to cost. Yes, a tune up, but as you say more was needed.... why not get the approval of the customer before doing so.? Getting a $900 bill when the work was complete was a TOTAL SHOCK and a dent in our pockets. 4. No comment on the trimmer, because at least it was reasonable, but still no approval... 5. You say you accept multiple forms of payment, then why make him use a pin and not allow the credit card to be charged. In conclusion, I will NOT remove my review, especially since you decided to write a long dissertation. My statements were facts.... you charged over $500 in labor and did not get customer approval.
