My name is Mike Smallwood and I'm 37 years old. I'm married with 4 wonderful kids. I work full time at Nissan. I've lived in Murfreesboro TN my whole life and love it here. So six years ago we got the news no parent should have to hear. My four-year-old daughter was diagnosed with cancer. After 5 1/2 long years of battling cancer she passed away. One thing she wanted me to do was to have my own business. So here I go. I'm going to try to start this in honor of her, that's why the name of the business is LB after her Leah Bee.

So I worked last summer with a friend of mine cutting grass to learn the inns and outs. I then went and bought my own mower and equipment so I can give it a go. Thanks for your interest and God bless

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I have been in business for about 2years and my daughter inspired me to start my own business.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

I am a smaller outfit with the ability to pay more attention to detail and costumer service

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Make sure the person you hire is polite, respectful, on time and does quality work

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

Being outside and being my own boss

What areas do you mainly service?

I mainly do service in the Murfreesboro and Smyrna areas
