Yard Cut Factory is a small, family-owned company. Although we expand each year our owners will still get out there and get their hands dirty. We offer weekly maintenance as well as landscaping installation. Currently, we have a 70/30% split - mowing to landscaping. Although the duties are - at times - strenuous, we rarely work because we actually enjoy what we do. .

YCF is a family business with great history. A husband and wife team who met in the industry. Both had their own business, clients, and staff, yet they fell in love and joined forces.

Both bring individual experience and expertise together to create an excellent finished result. We love what we do. We love our customers. We love each other.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

Our owner was mentored by a colleague that he respected in the industry and in then decided to open his own business. He actually loves to transform lawns with mulch, plants, and sod as well as maintaining manicured lawns with weekly maintenance.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

Of course, we are running a professional business but we have never forgotten our principles : family comes first; leave every situation better than we found it; the world is generally a good place, so we should act accordingly; give more than we receive; if happiness is a choice, we choose to choose it. These beliefs are reflected in the services we provide.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

My best advice is to watch out for the fly by nights and low ballers. Our rates are affordable and if we lowered them much more it would hurt our production. We search for ways to keep our operating costs as low as possible so that we can pass our savings on to our customers.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

I love seeing the difference in the before and after of the work we do. I love that I can provide a service for folks that don't have the time, don't have the desire, or don't have the skill to produce the appearence of a professionalIy maintained lawn. I love the outdoors. I love being able to show my children that we can follow our dreams.
