This Pro's Story
I established my lawn care business in 2020 after being laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I successfully operated the company until 2023, at which point I transitioned into a different career path and temporarily closed the business. Currently, I work on a biweekly schedule in my present role, which affords me the time and flexibility to relaunch and grow my lawn care business once again.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
Before launching my own lawn care company, I spent every summer from the age of 14 working for my brother’s lawn care business. During that time, I gained hands-on experience in all aspects of lawn maintenance, developed a strong work ethic, and learned the importance of delivering consistent, high-quality service to customers. I was inspired to start mowing lawns not only by the satisfaction of transforming outdoor spaces, but also by the opportunity to work independently and build something of my own from the ground up.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I take great pride in delivering a clean, professional finish to every lawn. It’s always rewarding to see how much customers appreciate the dramatic transformation achieved through precise mowing, edging, and thorough cleanup.
