Tejas Lawn

Tejas lawn has been a staple in the Dallas landscaping community for over 15 years. Luis Lopez has always been around landscaping and started his business due to a demand that he knew he could fill. Luis always enjoyed the act of mowing when he was younger and so owning his own landscaping company was an easy transition.  "It has always been something that I have enjoyed doing as a kid and while I was growing up so its been great,"  Lopez explains.  

Originally from Mexico, Luis and his family came to Texas and all help in the family business. "This is truly a family business and we enjoyed being able to serve the community of Dallas and be surrounded by family every day," he says. "There is nothing that I like more than to be able to get paid and be around family all day." 

Tejas Lawn services mainly the Dallas area but more specifically cuts yards in Mesquite, Texas, Balch Springs, Sunnyvale, Forney, Casa View, Heath, Lake Highlands, Rowlett, and even mows grass in Garland, Texas.  

Luis and his crew have over 50 recurrent homeowners and also services many commercial properties in the Dallas area including some medical buildings and office complexes.

When asked what has led to his growth, Lopez replies, "We love what we do in that shows through our work. We enjoyed the act of mowing, meeting new people, and everything associated with the landscaping business. We also do not advertise so all of our growth is all word of mouth--the best kind of advertising to have.  We also make sure to keep a clear line of communication with all of our customers and let them know of any delays or if we are running behind for any reason."

When asked what has drawn and kept him in this industry, Luis says that it's never boring and he loves being outside. "There is nothing like seeing the reaction of one of your customers when you exceed their expectations,"Lopez explain. "It's a feeling that I want to have for a very long time and a feeling that will never get old."

Not only will Luis and his crew handle your regular day-to-day landscaping, but they will also handle your Low level tree trimming, shrub and bush trimming, mulching, aeration, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, planting, rock work, and any landscape design.

When Lopez is not out keeping his customers happy, he loves to just relax and be with his family. They enjoy playing soccer and barbecuing all together as one.
