I just find it relaxing, and I enjoy helping my neighbors getting their yards back in order. I understand that things come up, or sometimes the weather wasn’t good during the free time you may have had to take care of your yard. And that’s one of the reasons I’m available.
We primarily focus on the lawn care aspect of the job. However during the spring we are planning to provide mulching services for clients as well as bush and tree pruning. Also on a case by case basis we have the capability to provide aerating, seeding and fertilizing service throughout the year to bring poorly maintained yards back to the lush green they can be.
We’re just getting underway here in the Chesapeake area, but we previously owned and operated landscaping businesses in Hawaii and Pennsylvania. As the owner and one of the main workers, I started this business for several reasons. Firstly I enjoy the tranquility of transforming yards into their best selves. Helping to maintain them afterwards is just a plus. I find it calming sculpting a yard and making it look perfect. I take pride in my work and I spend extra time working with my clients to perfect their yard.
As we’re just starting out and only have a limited number of clients, we have the time to spend perfecting your yard. I know there are a lot of vendors that pull up to a property, zoom through the cut, and are gone before you can blink. We pride ourselves in taking the time to be perfect with every cut. There’s an old saying from my time in the Navy ‘slow is smooth, and smooth is fast’. Because we take our time from the start we never have to explain to a client why something was done incorrectly.
