K Company Construction had been a staple in the Orlando, Florida community for over 30 years. It first started because Kristin Burnsed's dad was a general contractor in the area. She had worked for him since she was 16 years old and when he retired in 2005, she wanted to try her hand in the family business. Now Kristin runs the entire K Company Construction empire and hasn’t looked back.
A true Orlando native, Kristin has lived here for 33 years and has no plans to ever leave. "I was born and raised here and my family and I will never leave," Kristin says. "We love what we do, we love the weather, and we love the area."
Kristin and her crew service most of central Florida including cutting grass in Orlando, Florida, Apopka, Alafaya, Hunter's Creek, Altoona, Altamonte Springs, Astor, Clermont, Montverde, Ocoee, Windermere, Winter Garden, and even mow lawns in Winter Park, Fl.
K Company services numerous homeowners in the area and commercial properties including Save-A-lot in the Orange Blossom Center and also Sports Authority in Altamonte Springs.
Not only will Kristin and her crew handle all of your landscaping needs, they can also do mulching, sodding, pressure washing, install fences, pool cleaning, gutter cleaning, low level tree trimming, shrub and bush trimming, siding, and property clean up.
Her ticket to success she describes as "personal service." She adds, "We make sure to introduce ourselves to all of our new customers, walk the property with them, and make sure we are performing they work they are paying for. If the homeowners are not home, we will leave a card with my personal information so they can call me directly with any issues. We service people, not lawns."
Why did Kristin choose this line of business? "Its in my DNA," she laughs. "This is what I brought up to do and I love every minute of it. Our customers and our crew are great and love working with them every day."
When Kristin gets a few minutes to relax her family moves at an even faster pace. Her husband and 4 kids love to ride dirt bikes and go four wheeling on their farm. She also breeds rabbits, ducks, and chickens and has 2 goats, a sheep, a horse, and a pig as pets.
Her and her family love to go to the Farmer's Market in winter Garden every Saturday.
Kristin attended Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando and is currently getting her bachelor's degree at Capella University.
So when your yard needs a little additional TLC, let Kristin and her crew "master your disaster."
