This Pro Story
Cadieux Cutting is a father-and-son operation I've been operating on and off for the last couple of decades. I love both the challenge of transforming a challenging lawn and appreciate the care needed to keep your investment beautiful. There's nothing like the smell of a freshly cut lawn with crisp edges and a nice even mow. I currently operate a combination of a 21" push mower and a 42" deck tractor for my cuts. I do a lot of smaller yards in the inner-ring suburbs, so the small footprint in equipment is ideal in both utility and logistics. I am heavily considering investing in a 36" zero-turn for next season. For clean-up edging, I utilize a gas-powered edger and my string trimmer for edge maintenance.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I've been mowing lawns for as long as I can remember. While it's a side hustle for me, I really do find the work cathartic and definitely enjoy a challenging yard to bring back to life!
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
It's the culmination of many small things to make a yard stand out. I like to make sure the edges are clean and the driveway cracks are free from weeds to help draw attention to the home - not the weeds.
