How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have been in and around lawn care for well over 25 years. After working semi-normal jobs as being in the military and then a law enforcement officer for several years I made the decision that I really loved grass. Since that time I have owned and operated my own lawn care company for the last 2+ years. My inspiration for getting into the landscaping business came from two specific experiences. The first, I had ordered lawn care services and was completely dissatisfied with the service I received and knew I could do a better job. The second came when my neighbors approached me about how great my lawn looked and asked if I could help them. That was when Vet Mow was formed.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
Our services and our company stands out from others out there for two very specific reasons. We only hire veterans of this great country, and veterans do it better.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
My advice for any customer looking for a high quality service provider like us, is that high quality lawn maintenance/landscape companies do not bundle services and any company out there doing that either doesn't know the business properly or their work will be consistent with their pricing.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I really love the landscaping business because it affords me the ability to put my headphones on and do my work. After several years of combat this industry has been a great relief to have a low stress but very rewarding career.
