Professional Lawn Management is a full service lawn care and landscape company established in 2007. Our mission is to provide honest, professional (yet affordable) lawn care for those in the east Atlanta area (Stone Mountain, Tucker, Decatur, Lithonia Snellville Lilburn, Lawrenceville and surrounding).

I got my start in the landscaping business in Atlanta at young age mowing lawns in my neighborhood in high school and then grew the business through college. I didn't have access to college financial assistance so I have my lawn care clients to thank for helping me pay my way through earning my Bachelor's degree at Georgia State University in business administration graduating in 2011.

Earning my degree in business has been a major help in growing my lawn care company. The professional skills I learned at Georgia State helped me become my own business advisor , and skills such as marketing and finance have proven to be key growing and running my company. Most importantly , my customers tell me I bring a level professionalism that is not common in the lawn care industry to the customer relationship. So my formal education has given me source of competitive advantage and helps me stand out apart fromt the other lawn care services around Atlanta ultimately earning my landscaping clientele.

Since the summer of 2007 I have been able to grow my lawn care service from six customers to 168 ongoing lawn accounts . During the peak season our team consists 8 trained professionals. Every one if our lawn technicians has been personally trained by me to meet our customer's expectations. For quality control and to make sure our customers are pleased with our lawn service, I will personally inspect our crews work to keep my team on their toes.

One of the main things that sets our company apart from other lawn care companies around Atlanta is our communication. It sounds simple, but it makes all the difference in the world. I begin every relationship with our future lawn customers is to first try to find out where their previous landscaper let them down, so I can not make the same mistakes that previous lawn care company made avoiding their mistakes . Then I find out what their objectives are for other lawn, as some of our customers want year round care, so during the winter time we will come every other week to make sure their lawn is in tip top shape year round.

Our company services lawns all over Eastern and Northern Atlanta including the towns of Suwanee, Sandy Springs , Stone Mountain, Tucker, Alpharetta, offering lawn care services in Roswell, Dunwoody and Chamblee. We also provide landscape maintenance in Marietta GA So if you need lawn care service. leaf removal, flower bed clean outs, gutter cleaning , shrub trimming, or maybe even a whole new landscape renovation we are here to help.

I got my start in the landscaping business with my brother who has been mowing lawns for one of the biggest companies in the United States, the Brickman company. After working there for about 5 years, he decided it was time to take the skills he learned running a team at Brickman and apply them operating his own business.. At the time, I was in the restaurant buisness and I also was looking for a change of career. I was a partner in a sports bar and in a seafood restaurant in Buford Georgia and also Alpharetta, Georgia.

Once I realized I that I wanted a change, I sold my interests in those businesses and invested that money to start SAO Landscape Group. If I can say one thing about business it is that they are all challenging, and you need to love what you do.

SAO stands for my the initials of my two sons and my brothers name. The inspiration of using my two sons is to always remind me that I have started this business as an investment in their future. One day I plan to pass our landscaping business in Atlanta on to them.

Originally my brother and I from Acapulco Mexico , we migrated to the United States 16 years ago in search of a brighter futures. Ultimately we chose to settle in the Atlanta area because our family lived in the here, specifically in the towns of Buford ,Jonesboro, and Duluth. We will mow lawns in Johns Creek Ga also.

Together we have been in the landscaping business for about 5 years , and over that time we have grown the business to 85 weekly lawn mowing customers. Mostly we provide mowing for our clients, however for most of them we also do extra services like mulch and pine straw. On top of that we provide irrigation, hardscapes, retaining walls. Recently be also started offering flower bed design and installation. Basically if it needs to be done in the yard, we offer it.

We keep a full time crew mowing lawns throughout the week. We run a commercial grade 48” Exmark Walk Behind, we also run Stihl trimmers. So we can accommodate our customers with small fence gates, we also keep a small push mower to get into those back yards.

We mostly service clients north and east of I-85 in Duluth, Lawrenceville, Flowery Branch, and Cummings, Georgia. We will also go up to the Alpharetta area as well if a customer needs us there. We also offer lawn mowing service in Roswell GA if you live in that area.

I like to think about my customers as my friends, so I treat them with respect. If someone gets a little behind on their bill with me , we will work with them. At the end of the day , it's not just landscaping that I do, I serve people. This is a people business, if you take care of people they will refer their friends to you. This is the basis that I have built my business from.

Primarily , my landscaping company here in Atlanta is my passion, growing it, and earning customers business is what I love to do. It is my work, and my hobby.

Eddie Clarke is originally from , Ohio and moved to Buford March of this year. Eddie worked as a landscaper for 15 years in Ohio but moved down south to get away from the cold weather. In Ohio, Eddie ran a successful landscaping business and had over 150 customers and worked for 22 commercial properties. In Georgia, Eddie has approximately 50 customers, 20 of which are weekly clients. He thinks the most successful marketing tactics include using flyers and Google Adwords. However, he also attributes his success to word of mouth.

Eddie services Buford, Sugar Hill, Suwanee, Auburn, Duluth, Cummings, Johns Creek, Oakwood, Lawrenceville and Gainesville. Occasionally we will cut yards in Decatur GA for a property managment company we have a relationship with. Aside from mowing, Eddie also trims bushes, mows lawns, does pruning up to 13ft and uses pine straw. Eddie firmly believes that customer care is one of the most important aspects of his work. As a result, Eddie always tries to go above and beyond for his customers. For example, one time a lady believed she saw a lizard in her basement and called Eddie to remove the reptile. Eddie quickly came and discovered that the reptile was in fact, a snake. Although Eddie was petrified of the snake, he decided to conquer his fears and remove the six-foot snake from her home.

Although Eddie made a big risk moving to Georgia, he did it because he loves being outdoors and the weather is more favorable in Georgia than in Ohio. Last year, Eddie decided to experience the outdoors on a whole new level by hunting, fishing and travelling the world. Nevertheless, he is back to landscaping and is enjoying it more than ever.

I sold my business and moved to Buford Ga from ohio where I've been cutting grass and doing landscaping. How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

Before joining the United States Army, Stephen Price worked for various landscaping companies for most of his life. After serving his time in the military and being deployed in Baghdad for over a year, he became a firefighter in Marietta, Georgia. He always had the itch to get back into the landscaping business so he bought a 52 inch Scag lawnmower, a couple of weed eaters, and a blower and Price Lawn & Landscape was born.

This Virginia native attended the Fishburne Military School for Boys before joining the Army but now resides in Dallas, Georgia with his wife and 3 year old son, Gavin. Not only is Stephen a full time fireman and full time entrepreneur, he is also taking classes at Fortis College in Smyrna, Georgia to get his paramedic license.

Price and his crew service the main 120 thoroughfare and mow lawns in Johns Creek Ga Marietta including Kennesaw, Powder Springs, West Hampton, Hiram, and also cut lawns in Decatur Ga. He services neighborhoods on and around Whitlock Road and has a few apartment complexes on Powder Springs Road and west Sandtown Road in SW Marietta. Stephen will even mow yards in Alpharetta, Georgia. “If the job is big enough, we will go anywhere,” Price laughs.

Not only will Stephen take care of your basic lawn care needs, he will also handle bush and shrub trimming, plant your flower beds, low level tree trimming, mulch, over seeding, aeration, and any hardscapes including patios.

When asked what has led to his growth Price says, “I love being my own boss and I love seeing a finished product.” He goes on to say, “I love to take what the homeowner visualizes and making it come to life. There is no better feeling than to see the expression on the homeowners face when you go above and beyond their expectations.” Price will also stripe your lawn and makes sure your lawn is edged perfectly or to your preference.

When he is not out mowing or fighting fires, he loves just spending time with his family. “Since I am so busy, I love just being able to relax with my wife and watch my son grow; there is no better feeling,” Stephen says.

So if you lawn just needs a little more tender loving care or a full on lawn makeover, let Stephen and his crew at Price Lawn & Landscape breathe a little more life into your lawn this season.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I started working with a provider in 2004 and continued doing so for several years, learning the trade and the ins and outs of lawn care. Last year I decided to go into business for myself and haven't looked back. I have many happy and satisfied regular customers who have liked my work so much that they are having me do much larger projects past just mowing their grass. I install sod, build retaining walls and do patios as well as landscape redesigns. How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

I take pride in what I do and it shows. I go the extra mile for my customers and make recommendations regularly to improve their lawns and overall landscapes. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Look for someone who enjoys the work and puts actual effort into what they do. Not the person who comes out and zips through the work, leaving missed spots, forgetting to edge or trim around trouble spots. What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

It is an immediate reward for the work you've done. Arriving to the yard you see the grass has grown up, the edges are overrun and the walkways are littered with debris. Then once your finished, you leave a well manicured lawn that looks amazing and you feel good about what you've done. It's an even sweeter reward when a customer decides that they loved what you did so much they leave a glowing review and/or message you about how much they love the way their yard looks. What areas do you mainly service?

I work in Dallas, Hiram, Powder Springs, Marietta and Kennesaw. I also service the 120 corridor between Hiram and Marietta.

Ella Graves Lawn Cutting in Alpharetta GA
“I just love GreenPal I have been mowing my own yard my entire life, but I finally decided that life is too short and it was just better to pay a lawn service in Alpharetta GA to take care of it for me. When I began my search for a lawn guy I was surprised how difficult it was to get some of these lawn services to even call me back and one gave me a quote for $75 per lawn cutting! I hired him stupidly I just had a feeling that I was paying too much for lawn mowing so then I got on Greenpal and got four different lawn quotes for free from different lawn care services in Alpharetta and I hired one for $35 with great mowing ratings. Where has this been my entire life when I have been push mowing?.”
Stephen Gibson Lawn Mowing Service in Alpharetta GA
“The process was super easy in case you're not aware of how it works.. The GreenPal lawn mowing app goes out and gets you 3 4 or 5 lawn cutting quotes for your yard mowing for free from different lawnmowing businesses in your town. I am located in Alpharetta Georgia and so I was skeptical that they could find reliable lawn mowing services near me however sure enough 15 minutes after I signed up I got three text messages going off like popcorn on my phone with different lawn services that were fighting over my lawn business. I felt like a king and now I really feel like a king not having to push mow my yard anymore.”
Mike Watts Lawn Cutting in Alpharetta GA
“My wife has been mowing our yard for the past three lawn mowing seasons, yes I said my wife has been doing it lol. I know this is somewhat emasculating but I have always advocated for hiring a lawn service versus mowing the yard ourselves, well I finally won that argument with her this year because our lawnmower bit the dust. We went shopping for new lawn mowers at Lowes and we decided that a new decent lawn mower was going to cost well over thousand dollars we figured what the heck let's just pay a lawn care service in Fulton County this year so we tried out GreenPal and the app made the whole pain of hiring lawn care so easy that there is no going back for us we are set with the great lawn care service in our neighborhood in Alpharetta, Georgia.”
Vickie Collins Lawn Maintenance in Alpharetta GA
“So I was renting a house in Alpharetta Georgia on Airbnb for six months while I was staying down there for a work-related project. Renting this home I would have assumed that the lawn care and yard mowing would've been included however I was kindly reminded that it wasn't when the grass just kept getting taller and taller. well I guess you can say I'm a tech gal so I went to the App Store to see if there was an easy way to order lawn mowing with the mobile app and sure enough I stumbled onto the GreenPal app. I didn't have a whole lot of confidence because it was the first time I used it but I figured why not, the lawn service quotes were free, so I'll give it a shot after reading some of the reviews on the App Store my concerns were someone alleviated however you just never know how these things are going to work out but sure enough I was surprised Lawnmowing service I hired for my rental in Airbnb in Alpharetta Georgia came out the very next day and cut down the tall grass and then kept the yard under control every two weeks for me until I was done renting the home. Amazing what convenient times we live in.”

About Alpharetta Georgia

Alpharetta is an affluent city located in north Fulton County, Georgia.

In the 1830s, the Cherokee people in Georgia and elsewhere in the South were forcibly relocated to the Indian Territory under the Indian Removal Act. Pioneers and farmers later settled on the newly vacated land, situated along a former Cherokee trail stretching from the North Georgia mountains to the Chattahoochee River.

One of the first permanent landmarks in the area was the New Prospect Camp Ground (also known as the Methodist Camp Ground), located beside a natural spring near what is now downtown Alpharetta. It later served as a trading post for the exchanging of goods among settlers.

The Downtown Alpharetta Welcome Center is located at 178 South Main Street and has more than 200 complimentary brochures providing information on the surrounding area. The center is open Monday — Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Alpharetta Family Skate Center (aka The Cooler) is on 10800 Davis Drive. It is also home to the Atlanta Sparks special needs hockey team.

The Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest is held the first Saturday in October on the streets of downtown Alpharetta. The Scarecrow Harvest is held the first Saturday in October in downtown Alpharetta. The streets are lined with 100 scarecrows to celebrate its fall spirit. Source: Wikipedia Alpharetta, GA
