How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

20 years. I worked at 2 different golf courses during college and just after college as an assistant superintendent. I graduated with a degree in geology from Northeastern Illinois university and decided 15 years ago to keep the lawn business going. Here we are today.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

Our experience and communication with each customer. I am the owner operator and everything goes through myself before any work is to be performed. It helps eliminate mistakes.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Reliability and trust that company to show up each week or service date. The spring can get crazy so I would try to book service ahead of time and not at the last minute in the spring. We service properties from Mid March to the first week of December weather permitting with spring and fall cleanups. Communication is key and especially if you have an overgrown lawn. We charge more for that. Send a couple pictures to the provider if your lawn is overgrown so we know what to expect when we stop by the first time and that we can give a rough estimate how much more it will cost that first service.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

We get to work outside and meet all different types of people everyday. Each property and customer is different and we don’t try to use a one size fits all business model.

What areas do you mainly service?

We work as far north as Park Ridge, west to Lagrange. We cover Chicago north of 290 and south as far as I55. If we bid on your property then we are in your area.
