Here's the deal…

An icon of a speedometer, generally used to represent performance metrics or speed in various applications.

One of the most important stats about your business is the percentage of how often your customers are booking ongoing mowings with you after their first cut with you.

Why does this matter?

Because this is a general indicator of how satisfied your clients are with your services. Not all clients will want ongoing mowings, fair enough, however keep in mind the GreenPal overall average for lawn pros using the system is 50% so you'll want to aim always be above that.

Tip:

The good news is you can easily improve this rating by always following up and asking your clients if they were satisfied with their first cut and if they want ongoing mowings…

Next... if you get their approval, set them up on your GreenPal dashboard and like magic your rating increases and you've got another ongoing customer setup.

But that's just part of the story...

Another important stat to keep an eye on is your "Win Rate". Simply stated this is how often you win an auction that you bid on.

Check out this example…

How can you actually use this? Well… here are some easiest ways to improve your win rate:

  • 1

Bid Fast. In my experience homeowners pick the first bid that is in their price range.

  • 2

Always add a personalized note with your bid ie "I mow three homes nearby you already, I can definitely be there Thursday".

  • 3

Bid as tight as you can. Obviously price does matter.

  • 4

Make sure you have the best possible looking gallery pictures uploaded to your profile.

  • 5

Always ask for reviews, the more reviews you have the easier it is to win lawns.

  • 6

When you upload completed work photos, take the best pictures you can of your completed jobs. Why? Because they are on your profile and your prospective customers will see them.

What's the bottom line?
