Over the years, many of the town officials had contemplated calling the city many names such as “Mitchellville,” but soon after the city was officially known as Manchester. The Big Duck River and Little Duck River intersect through the city along with Interstate 24, State Route 55, US Route 41, and many other highways leading to all parts of the city. Visitors can visit the Great Stage Park, a tour through Old Stone Fort, Aerospace Cultural Center Museum, Beans Creek Winery, Dave King Park, and many areas in Tennessee.
