GreenPal data shows summer heat is reshaping lawn care demand across the U.S., with bookings up 6.6% month over month while average mowing prices hold steady at $45.36.

Summer heat is already changing when homeowners book lawn care.

GreenPal recorded 238,374 total bookings over the last 30 days, up from 223,701 in the previous 30-day period.

That is a 6.6% month-over-month increase.

The average lawn mowing price held at $45.36. Average appointment value in the latest period came in at $45.43.

That points to a timing shift, not a pricing spike.

The strongest activity is showing up in warm-weather markets.

Houston
led all cities with 16,987 bookings. Orlando followed with 14,306, Nashville with 13,212, Atlanta with 11,486, and St. Louis with 10,767.

For homeowners comparing local options in Texas, start with lawn mowing in Houston and providers like Contreras Landscape or Green World Landscape.

In Tennessee, compare lawn mowing in Nashville with ETC Services or A L S Landscape Construction.

What Homeowners Should Know

The biggest shift here is timing.

More homeowners are getting on the schedule before the hottest stretch of summer.

That matters because good crews can fill up quickly. Waiting too long can mean fewer open spots and fewer good options.

The other thing that stands out is pricing. The average lawn mowing price stayed at $45.36. So this is not really a price story. It is a timing story.

"Once the heat settles in, many homeowners stop putting off the yard. In hot-weather markets, people know the best crews do not stay open forever. What stands out in this data is that more homeowners are moving a little earlier, while prices remain pretty steady."
