The Shadow Mountain Community Church that Jeremiah manages can be found not far from the city in El Cajon.
Lakeside CA is located about 20 miles northeast of downtown San Diego. The Kumeyaay Highway or I-8 is to the south of the city. The city of El Cajon is direct to the southwest of Lakeside.
Lakeside has a population of about 20,000. The town also has a Mediterranean climate, which means that the summers are warm while rainfall is more likely to develop in the winter season.
Lakeside California was formed in 1886 following the purchase of 6,600 acres of land by the El Cajon Valley Land Company. The area grew thanks to a railroad connection in the area and a new racetrack. The region has become prominent for its many ranches and rodeo events.
